What FIREYTALE ✦ is
FIREYTALE ✦ is a financial planning calculator. It projects retirement outcomes from the facts you enter, using versioned Canadian tax, pension, and account rules. It is a tool for exploring scenarios, not a financial planning service and not an advisor relationship.
No investment advice
Every number FIREYTALE ✦ shows is a planning estimate built on stated assumptions — including a historical return model that is a simulation of the past, not a forecast. Nothing here is a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any security, or a promise about future outcomes. Decisions are yours; consult a qualified professional before acting.
Your account and inputs
You sign in with an email link or Google. You are responsible for the accuracy of what you enter; projections are only as honest as their inputs. Keep your email access secure — it is the only credential to your plans.
Acceptable use
Do not abuse the service: no automated scraping, no attempts to overwhelm or probe the infrastructure, no use of the product to misrepresent computed results as personalized advice to others. We may suspend accounts that do.
Availability and changes
FIREYTALE ✦ is provided as-is, in active development. Features and rules data may change as policies update; stored plans are recomputed against current rules on open, with a notice when that happens. We may add, change, or discontinue any part of the service.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, FIREYTALE ✦ is not liable for decisions made based on its estimates, for lost profits or data, or for indirect damages arising from use of the service.
Changes to these terms
Updated terms are posted on this page with a new date. Continuing to use FIREYTALE ✦ after a change means accepting it.
